Mountain had the opportunity to work on the new University of Utah scoreboard in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new $13.5 million board is 122 feet wide, 64 feet tall, and has 2.6 million pixels, making it one of the bigger boards in the country. The new screen will not only improve video quality, but allow for better graphics, images, advertising, and detailed shots. Mountain had two cranes on site, a Terex 55t RT and a Grove TMS9000E. It was a fun job, and Mountain Crane was thrilled to be a part of such a unique project.
